Savage: The Shard of Gosen

Savage: The Shard of Gosen is a two-dimensional platform-based action game in which you play as a barbarian who, after escaping the cell where he was locked up, comes face to face with an epic adventure set in a completely open fantasy world.

During most of the game, you'll see your barbarian hero from a two-dimensional perspective as you jump from platform to platform and use different weapons to attack your enemies (although at the beginning you'll only be able to use your two fists).

However, once you leave each zone, you will go to the world map and be able to move freely from one region to another. While you're on the map screen, you can go wherever you like, although some areas will remain blocked off until you have the specific item or ability needed to access them.

Savage: The Shard of Gosen is a fun two-dimensional action game with excellent 16-bit inspired graphics and visual effects.
